Article 1: Scope
Unless special conditions are stated on the quote, these General Terms and Conditions of Sale apply to all sales and services provided by AIN’TENSION ELECTRICITE EURL. By signing this document or any other document referring to it, the customer unreservedly accepts the General Terms and Conditions of Sale.
Article 2: Orders and quotes
Unless otherwise stated, quotes are valid for 2 months from the date of issue. AIN’TENSION ELECTRICITE EURL reserves the right to change its prices after this period. An order is only confirmed once the customer has signed and returned the quote together with a deposit cheque corresponding to 50% of the amount including VAT, unless otherwise stated on the quote, and once confirmed by AIN’TENSION ELECTRICITE EURL.
Any changes to or cancellation of the work must be notified to AIN’TENSION ELECTRICITE EURL in writing. The booking of the services listed on a quote will be considered effective and processed upon receipt of the quote signed by the customer with the handwritten words “Lu et approuvé, Bon pour accord” (read and approved, agreed) and dated.
Any express request from the customer for changes or additional services may be subject to an additional quote. For any service of €100 excluding VAT or more, unless otherwise stated on the quote, 50% of the amount will be requested on ordering. An additional advance payment may be requested during the work by agreement between the parties. Written or verbal confirmations or bookings are not considered final commitments.
Article 3: Prices and invoicing
The price of goods is the price in force on the day the order is placed. Prices are stated in euros, both excluding and including VAT. Any change in tax rates will be passed on in the price. Any extras will be subject to an additional quote, which must be signed.
Rates: we reserve the right to make any changes to our rates that we consider appropriate, without notice.
Night, weekend and public holiday surcharges: labour is charged at +50% from midnight to 8 am and from 7 pm to 11:59 pm Monday to Friday, and at +100% on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.
An invoice will always be issued to professional customers. For private customers, an invoice will be issued either on AIN’TENSION ELECTRICITE EURL’s own initiative or at the customer’s request. A note in duplicate will be given to the customer for any service of at least €15 excluding VAT.
Payment is due on receipt of the invoice: in cash, by bank or postal cheque, or by bank transfer. Cheques must be drawn on a bank located in mainland France. Cheques are paid in on receipt. Cheques must be made payable to AIN’TENSION ELECTRICITE EURL.
For town halls and public authorities, a purchase order or work order stamped and signed by the Mayor or their representative will be required. Payment is made by bank transfer on receipt of the invoice (bank details attached).
Payment must be made as stated on the invoice, unless special conditions apply. In the absence of any provision, payment must be made no later than the thirtieth day following receipt of the goods or service (art. L 144-6 of the French Commercial Code). The balance, after deduction of deposits, must be paid on receipt of the invoice. No discount will be granted for early payment.
Late payment penalties: any late payment will incur a penalty at the rate set by the European Central Bank (ECB) plus 7 percentage points. Penalties are payable without any reminder being necessary. They apply automatically from the day after the payment date shown on the invoice or, failing that, from the thirty-first day following receipt of the goods or performance of the service. A fixed fee of €40 for recovery costs may be charged to professional customers.
Article 4: Troubleshooting, fault finding, call-outs
Troubleshooting and fault-finding call-outs are subject to an obligation of means and not of result. Fault finding consists of identifying the cause of a malfunction. The time required cannot be determined in advance. The time spent on diagnosis is payable even if the fault cannot be reproduced during the call-out, if the exact cause of the fault cannot be determined, if the repair requires additional work or if the customer decides not to proceed with the repairs. Any repair or replacement of equipment will, where necessary, be subject to an additional quote accepted by the customer.
The travel charge is payable as soon as the technician attends the site, even if the customer is absent, access is impossible, the work is refused or there is a technical impossibility beyond the company’s control. If the installation poses a danger to people or property, the company may interrupt its work until the installation has been made safe. Tests, measurements, investigations, checks and inspections are an integral part of the service and are chargeable.
If the customer refuses the work proposed following the diagnosis, only the services carried out (travel, diagnosis, time spent, tests) will be invoiced. Some fault finding may require several call-outs. The company does not guarantee that the cause of the malfunction can be identified during the first call-out.
Article 5: No subcontracting
All work is carried out by AIN’TENSION ELECTRICITE EURL’s own salaried electricians: the company does not subcontract any project, in whole or in part. It may, however, itself work as a subcontractor on behalf of other companies.
Article 6: Retention of title clause
All goods remain the property of AIN’TENSION ELECTRICITE EURL until their price has been paid in full. Furthermore, if the customer is subject to receivership or liquidation proceedings, AIN’TENSION ELECTRICITE EURL reserves the right to reclaim any goods sold that remain unpaid.
AIN’TENSION ELECTRICITE EURL expressly retains ownership of the goods and supplies delivered until full payment of their price, principal and interest. AIN’TENSION ELECTRICITE EURL cannot be held responsible if the manufacturer concerned does not apply its product guarantee.

With the customer’s consent, given by a specific statement on the quote, the company may also use photos of the work, inside and outside the building, for communication purposes (website, social media, trade fairs). Refusing such use has no impact on the order.
Published photos show no people, number plates, street numbers or any element making it possible to identify the customer or precisely locate their home. Only the town may be mentioned. No information about the customer is disclosed.
The customer may withdraw their consent at any time by writing to aintension.electricite@gmail.com. The photos concerned are then removed from the company’s media within one month.
